The evil hand of Ice Devimon crept closer to Ruki as she wrestled with these questions. In order to make Ruki his Tamer, Ice Devimon proudly showed her the specimens of all the Digimon he had previously defeated. Seeing her old self in Ice Devimon's lust for strength Ruki was in shock. She was saved by Renamon and the others, but unable to sort out her feelings Ruki turned her back to Renamon and walked away... A thick fog suddenly appeared at the intersection. Sensing that a Digimon had appeared, Terriermon tried to get into battle mode, but Lee wouldn't let him. Terriermon threw a tantrum when Lee tried to forcefully take him home and the Digital Field steadily Realized before their eyes. Then in the instant that the Digimon had fully taken on physical form...Yamaki's Yuggoth destroyed both the Digimon and the Digital Field! Terriermon looked on unhappily as the Digital Field was destroyed. As he tried to comfort Terriermon, Lee realized that he didn't have a good answer to Terriermon's question..."Hey Jian, why can't I fight?" Terriermon was a friend. He didn't want to see his friend kill someone. But Terriermon himself wanted to fight. To deny him the right to fight was to deny his identity as a Digimon... Lee trembled as he searched for the answer to his meeting Terriermon.
